Colum Horgan

Co-founder of AspiraCon, an Enterprise and Cloud Software company based in Cork. Colum was a Senior Manager in Motorola in Cork, holding positions in Engineering and Project Management over 10 years. In 2007, following the closure of Motorola, Colum hired a number of his colleagues to found AspiraCon.

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree (BEng Hons) and a Project Management Professional (PMP) qualification and now serves as President of the PMI (Project Management Institute) chapter in Ireland. He has collaborated with Cork Institute of Technology to produce the Diploma in Project Management and is an external examiner with Athlone Institute of Technology.

He has a broad experience in Management and Engineering roles from manufacturing to Hardware and Software in roles in the Public Service, Multi-National Corporations as well as indigenous SMEs.
